Wootton High School theatre will be traveling to NYC March 8th, 2024. This incredible opportunity will include a day trip to NYC, with a Broadway Workshop, a Broadway Show, a walking tour, along with some free time to explore.

A NOTE ABOUT ADULT CHAPERONES AND PARTICIPATION: You must also register for the trip.  Each person attending the trip, must individually register for the trip and will be assigned a group of students to chaperone. 

WALKING NOTE:
The schedule includes a lot of walking.  Be prepared to walk 4-8 miles a day.

• 4:00 am-Leave Wootton High School
• 6:00 am-Break at Delaware House, JFK Memorial Hyw, Newark, DE
• 6:30 am-Back on the road to NYC
• 9:15 am-Drop off 77th Street between 2nd & 3rd Avenue. 
• 9:45am-10:45am-College Tour-Marymount Manhattan College
• 11:00 am-11:30 am-Walk as group to Central Park
• 11:30 am-12:00 pm-Lunch (student provided)
• 12:00 pm-12:30 pm-walk to Museum of Broadway
• 12:30 pm-2:00 pm-Tour of Museum of Broadway!
• 2:00 pm-3:00 pm Rest/Downtime 
• 3:00 pm-4:00 pm-Workshop-song and dance from Hadestown!
• 4:00 pm-6:30 pm-Free Time for students in groups, including dinner
• 6:30 pm-meet at Broadway Show for a check-in (Address: Walter Kerr Theatre 219 W 48th St (Between Broadway and 8th Ave))
• 7:00 pm-10:00 pm-Broadway Show (Hadestown)
• 10:00 pm-10:50 pm-Talk Back with Cast Member of Hadestown
• 11:00 pm-Bus Pickup to head home (Pickup location TBD)
• 1:30 am- Break at Delaware House, JFK Memorial Hyw, Newark, DE
• 3:30 am-Arrive Wootton High School
